Air flow controller Ex-zone 22
The LNZ 450 series of dust explosion protected compact sensors serves to control, monitor and record air flows in Ex zone 22. The devices are especially suited for timber industry applications which have been subject to stricter explosion protection standards since the beginning of 2006, requiring all companies to compile an explosion protection document. It is therefore necessary to monitor exhaust systems more closely, which increases the importance of air flow controllers for control purposes. The sensors feature one switching output which triggers an alarm signal when flow changes occur. At the same time, an integrated LED display signals the alarm. The alarm threshold can be freely adjusted within a detection range of 0.5...30 m/s. The air flow controllers are suitable for a temperature range between -10 and +60 °C. They are available in several fitting lengths which facilitates installation in a wide variety of pipes.
