Inductive sensors Ex-Zone 20
The IDEX20 series of inductive proximity switches is designed for applications where explosive dust atmospheres are present permanently, for long periods of time or frequently, such as saw mills or elevators for flour and cereals. The Ex-protected sensors feature integrated electronics. They can replace previously installed standard sensors, thereby converting machines and plants to comply with requirements for areas with explosive dust atmospheres. IDEX20 sensors have one switching output and an integrated LED which indicates the switch status. Three models with diameters of 80, 100 and 160 mm and switching distances between 10 and 150 mm are available. The sensors are suitable for a temperature range of -25...+75 °C. They are connected via a fixed cable. Due to IP 67 protection, they are fit for use in rugged industrial environments.
